So it's safe to say I am staying consistent with my blog, even though this is only the second post lol. I still see this as progress because I intentionally took photos specifically for this blog post. Anyway, last week I got some gifted goodies from Secrets in Lace, so of course that means I have to dedicate a shoot to it. I received the pink version of their newest 'Talia' collection, which includes a bra, garter belt, slip, thong, and camisole.

I also received a pair of RHTs (Reinforced Heel & Toe Nylons) in the shade Espresso, which I looveeeeee. I've never bought their nylons in Espresso, but this color surpasses the Coffee shade, which was my favorite shade to buy from them. The gold trim on the lace is so gorgeous. But the button detailing on the camisole, I was so happy to see! I adore fabric-covered buttons, but more than that, I love functioning buttons! It feels like so many brands today take the easy way out regarding functioning buttons, so to see fabric-covered buttons that actually work and aren't just sewn on was a pleasure!

And I know what you're thinking. Does it really matter whether the buttons are functioning? And yes, it does lol. As a lover of fashion with a very refined sense of style, little details like buttons do matter. There is nothing worse than coming across a garment you like, and the buttons are only there for decoration. Or God forbid the garment has SMOCKING!!!!! I can not stand smocking. I know it serves a purpose, but for a large portion of a dress or blouse to be nothing but pleated fabric throws the entire thing off... But that's just my personal opinion.

To end this little rant, yes, small details matter. In a world of fast fashion, paying close attention to things like buttons really can make or break a garment. When clothing is made with integrity, it lasts. Especially delicate items like lingerie and loungewear.

The slip is my second favorite item in this collection. It has structured cups for your breasts, which I was so grateful for. As a 32DD, possibly now a 32DDD, my breasts need support. Another plus is that the straps can also be adjusted, giving me a gravity-defying lift. I was very surprised by my profile in the camisole and slip. There is a stitch giving off a bullet effect when wearing the camisole and slip. Which I think gives them a certain "perk up", kind of an illusion lol. But I love it, so I am not complaining.

Final Thoughts? I am entrhalled by it all! As always, a peek into the final post coming this evening is down below. This has been a delight, talking to my more than likely small audience lol nevertheless, until next time.

Much Love,

Cooca <3
