Fall / WinterWishlist

So although we have barely dipped our toe into Spring I have been experiencing some deep fall/winter withdrawals. It doesn't help that my fall/winter in 2022 was terrible lol I desperately want a redo... so I am currently daydreaming about some fall pieces and thought I'd share my wishlist.

I'll be window shopping this Spring/Summer and buying these products if I come across them and feel that I absolutely need them! You can't really say Vintage Fall if you don't have a 1950's Knit Set or a 1940s Garbadine Suit. These items have always been pricey when I come across them, so it's very hard to find one I can reason with myself with to purchase.

Something more casual and day-to-day I'd like is a 1950s fur-trimmed cardigan. I have a few 1950s cardigans but they're only the beaded ones and in very delicate condition so I really didn't wear them last season. But I really want to purchase a fur-trimmed one and try to find a matching hat to pair.

The next staple piece I feel like I need is a 1940s coat. I have always been so weary about buying these because every time I see them on Etsy or Vintage Shops online they always look so big. I'm really just scared to purchase one that is too big, they're already costly so I'd have to somehow get rid of it if it did not fit.

The last thing is more of an accessory than a piece of clothing. I've always wanted to own a hand muff. Most of the time they come in a set with a matching hat or coat. I've come across a few that weren't badly priced but haven't really found one that was worth impulse buying lol

So, that's not a lengthy list lol and I have both Spring and Summer to search for these items, hopefully, until next time!
