I know I took a bit of a break, but the weather here has been so depressing since Easter weekend... nothing but overcast and rain for two weeks straight. I've had so much work I've needed to shoot outside, but Mother Nature has had other plans girl!! Luckily, we will finally see a week of sun starting Thursday.

To add to that, I got another opportunity to create work for Freddie's of Pinewood again. This is my second time working with them. I absolutely adore their jeans. I don't wear jeans often but when I do I wear Freddie's! They offer classic vintage cuts in either a 1940s or 1950s style.

I own a few of their Spellbound blouses, along with a couple of their 1950s button blouse. Monday’s post was all about the Paisley Spellbound they sent over. It’s a 1940s styled blouse with killer bishop sleeves. I shot that blouse with two different 1940s skirts and will get around to posting the other photo set.

I had been meaning to buy their strapless bustier top, but it's now completely off their website, so I doubt I'll see it again for a while. I've always wanted to style a bustier top to achieve that quintessential 1950s pinup look, a strapless top paired with killer high-waisted shorts. And a pair of HOT black babydoll heels or spring-o-lators. So hopefully I find a good vintage bustier and can get some shots in that outfit this summer!

In other news my dressing room is getting yet another makeover, specifically for my YouTube endeavors! I just want things to be a bit more fabulous, you can never be surrounded by too much glamour. I’m hoping I have my renovations done by Monday but I am also trying to be more patient with the process of things.

I have a very bad habit of rushing and wanting things done when I want them done, even when it’s completely out of my control. And in the past that has never faired well for me, so if things aren’t finished by Monday, then okay I’ll just have to suck it up and take it day by day lol.

To wrap this up I can’t wait to show y’all my new set up. As always until next time, stay glamorous!

Much Love,

Cocoa G
